We've wanted to try Kono's Northshore for a hot minute and finally found time when our out-of-town friends wanted to try "something different!" We met at the restaurant on a fairly chill Monday afternoon. Located right off Summerlin Parkway and Buffalo, this shopping center is traffic heavy, but there's decent parking. We were greeted upon walking in and grabbed a menu. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. There's a ton of seating! Drink options are "ok," but I opted for water and husband got a pineapple guava lemonade which he enjoyed. No refills tho, so really "enjoy" it! We ordered the breakfast sliders and settled in to play catch-up. Our friends ordered the pork plate and the nachos (I wanted the nachos! ) The food was served very quickly and it was delicious! These biscuits are the best we've had in Vegas - HANDS DOWN! The sliders come in bacon, pork, and Portuguese sausage all of which are perfectly paired and absolutely yum! My only meh was that we were just sitting and chatting and catching up, and we were there for about an hour and a half. This seemed to annoy the employees for some reason. We weren't bothering them, we bussed our own table, we didn't ask for anything extra and the restaurant had 4 total groups in the time we were there - why be annoyed? I really enjoyed the food, but this weird vibe wasn't "aloha" and I don't know if we'll be back or just to-go in the future. Like I said, I really want the nachos!

Came by Kono's (right before doing some food shopping @ Winco) for a quick bite to eat. We were greeted right away by everyone and our server right away helped with suggestions for the menu by asking if we had been there before and if we were in the mood for breakfast or lunch, she was great. My husband ordered the breakfast bomber and I went for the plate lunch. My kalua pulled pork was so good, tender and flavorful and that house made guava bbq sauce was good too, but I also used some of the mango pineapple hot sauce that was on the table, that was the one!!!! I even finished my side salad with the papaya dressing , everything was just so good. My husband said his bomber was a good hearty breakfast burrito, he even liked the potatoes that were in it and he doesn't really eat potatoes, lol. He said he wants to try the others as well, that how I know he likes the restaurant, when he wants to go back!! Everyone was really friendly and the restaurant itself has a warm feeling about it, you can even rent a space out for events/parties, which seems like a cool idea, and they have catering, which I am interested in cause their food is really good! We will for sure be back!

Had a nice, chill breakfast at Kono's. The kalua pork and the shakes are the play here. Nachos with kalua pork was really good. The Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice was supah ono. Kid had the chicken quesadilla which was not bad. Service is super friendly but on "Hawaiian time" ;). The space was nice for catching up with old friends and kid friendly. The music def set the 9th island vibe. A gem in Summerlin. Convenient after a run to the Lowe's and Trader Joe's.

One of my favorite's at Kono's Northshore, Kalua Pork!! Kono's Northshore is located off of Summerlin Parkway Exit/Buffalo area. It's in a shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking! I ended up picking up a Kalua Pork combo with rice as a to go order. The service was pretty quick, about 15 minutes for the order to be prepared. The team members were super helpful! I let the team member at the register know that my order was to go! They provided utensils for me! Even though my residence was about 10 minutes away, the food was still fresh and hot! The Kalua Pork was so flavorful! There was a lot of Kalua Pork and rice too! The pineapple was a nice addition! The side salad and sauce was yummy! The food here is great!! Too bad I don't live closer, otherwise, I would go more often!

I ordered lox and bagel and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best I have ever had. The portion of salmon was very generous. The tomatoes were fresh and crisp. I will definitely be ordering it again and I will be passing on how wonderful this restaurant food is.

The food was absolutely delicious! Mouth watering to be exact! The kalua pork sliders literally melted in my mouth! The 12 hour slow roasted pulled pork was bursting with flavor, the gauva bbq sauce, and slaw was the perfect touch. In addition to the sweet rolls being warm and soft. The freshly squeezed guava lemonade was a little too tart for my liking. However, nothing a few sugar packets couldn't fix. The service was excellent ,super sweet cashier and staff. The ambiance makes you feel like you're in Hawaii.

Today, we stopped by for a quick brunch. We were greeted promptly when entering and we were told about the food. The ambiance is a relaxing and comfortable beach vibe. After a short time, our food came out. I got the breakfast bomber with bacon and added pulled pork. It was delicious and very filling. The pork was very tender and tasty. The salsa and bbq sauce were very good. Chips included in my combo were awesome. There was a great friendly disposition and attentive service by everyone here. After eating, we had a great chat with the owner. We will definitely come back and hope to get to their other restaurants in Hawaii.

Stopped by here on our trip to Vegas. Great little brunch/lunch place. They had Khalua pig dishes that are quite delicious. I ordered the Avo BLT and loved it - fresh and flavorful. Enjoyed an Orange Cream Milkshake that was nice and citrusy. Service was excellent! Walked up to the counter, ordered and food was ready in no time. I would recommend this place if you are looking to get out of the casino fray.
